Database

The database was developed during the AEHESIS Thematic Network Project, which was awarded the ERASMUS "Success Story" price by the European Commission in 2008.

One of the key tools of the project was to gain information about the various programmes and academic/professional qualifications offered by European sport education and training providers. The data system has been developed with the objective to actively support and computer-control the educational work in the Sport Sector. Therefore the electronic questionnaire, which consists of a dynamic online form was developed.

The database includes an interactive query: After selecting and/or combining different search parameters like “Country”, “Area”, “Languages” and “Level” the results are shown in a short and a detailed version.

The database can also be found at the European Sport Education Information Platform SOPHELIA, ENSSEE´s working platform.
